SUMMARY:

<

Today, new opportunities to connect and create abound amidst emerging, low-cost, high-quality, communication options that are increasingly available to people from virtually all walks of life, all around our planet.

<

Even so, not everybody is making particularly constructive or satisfying use of our new options today.

<

In many cases, uncertainty is breeding mistrust, polarized perspectives, and fear.

<

Our emerging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) performance understandings clearly explain to us how unresolved uncertainties of this very nature will predictably reduce our individual achievements and our collective capabilities.

<

Our STEM neuropsychosocial performance understandings also inform us as to personal actions we can take to optimally address our uncertainties — to our clear individual and collective advantages.

<

Emerging STEM human performance understandings suggest that reliable, values-based, human-to-human respect holds a key to adaptably creative and truly sustainable human performance — individually, organizationally, and ultimately as a species.

<

These new understandings — which we now have the option to respect — include our genetically-inherited, hierarchically triaged, neuro-cognitive sub-systems and our related social-emotional capacities.

<

Key circumstances and conditions are related to our Central Nervous System’s (CNS’s)– not simply our intellect’s —  interpretation of (1) safety and (2) novelty, as related to (3) personal purpose.

<

A STEM-informed “map” of our human (i) meaning-making and (ii) information-processing capabilities under key circumstances as interpreted by the human CNS (and not simply the human intellect) can enable us to more strategically create the very circumstances we need in order to more reliably improve the quality of our individual and group endeavors.

<

These understandings can directly enhance our constructive options under both enjoyable and challenging circumstances.

<

Our STEM understandings of sustained peak neuropsychosocial performance invite personal engagement — by each of us — in strategic new learning about ourselves, whatever our walk in life.

<

This new learning includes understanding of the key role of heightened respect for ourselves and each other to lead us to look beyond surface behaviors to empower creation of new constructive possibilities with each other.

<

This can replace what we might refer to as conscious or unconscious stereotyping or simply “tolerating” others.

<

Our STEM-sharpened understandings of ourselves can lead to our personal achievement of more personally satisfying and out-of-the-ordinary results, individually and with others, no matter what our walk in life.

<

Our emerging STEM understandings also underscore the critical importance of personal freedoms, clear communications, adaptability, and earned trust in order take full advantage of our emerging human capacities and capabilities.

<

Our historic and evolving North American cultural commitments to freedom, rights-based rule of law, and the resulting respect for diversity with civility optimizes the foundation of our individual and collective futures — not only in North America, but also around the world.

<

Pro-active respect for ourselves and each other can be facilitated, paradoxically it might seem at first glance, by our strategically engaging in “conflict as opportunity” based on respect specifically to inspire cooperative learning to mutual advantage.

<

This requires personal clarity, interest, and commitment.

<

People are achieving astounding results — in familiar as well as unfamiliar circumstances.

<

Our emerging STEM neuropsychosocial understandings provide deeper clarity in this regard and can often deepen our personal interest and engagement, for extra-ordinary results.

<

Our highest performance North American businesses are already doing this.

<

Our high performance master teachers, and their students, are likewise doing so.

<

Our effective human interaction achievers, in all walks of life, ditto.

<

We are advocating here what might be labeled as “out-of-the-ordinary,” if not epic, human engagement — by each of us, as willing and able.

<

What we advocate here is building upon leadership, actions, and understandings of many generations of others up to and including today.

<

Moreover, our presently emerging circumstances, needs, capabilities, and yearnings seem to be converging as “keys” for strategic human performance.

<

Our STEM understandings confirm, perhaps paradoxically, that we must start with a focus on ourself.

<

Fortunately, this is a respectful focus by each on self.

<

People need not try to “invent the wheel” here, because we each have opportunity to build upon the experiences and teachings of those who have come before us whom we most respect.

<

“Timeless teachings” have been mathematically clarified via our STEM understandings of our distinctly inherited and emerging human CNS functioning as related to our personal, family, work-group, civic, and collective functioning.

<

STEM understanding of our own inherited and emerging needs for security, connection, and novelty can empower us greatly — providing new insights that enhance development of more pro-social sustainability.

<

In plain English, this is about improving human performance through enhancing personal clarity with greater accuracy and peace of mind.

<

Our presently emerging “keys” also underscore our imperative need, across all walks in life, for many, multiple, creatively-tailored solutions.

<

In light of our many emerging technological means for increasingly widespread, timely, and effective communications with each other, our opportunities have naturally expanded for potentially more effective, satisfying, and sustainable solutions.

<

But this can only occur via enhanced understanding of ourselves leading to enhanced understandings and appreciations of each other.

<

These present keys likewise point to our need for “systems solutions” that will simultaneously respect our planet’s three primary economies, these being Monetary, Traditional, and Nature’s economies.

<

Our actions must include respect for those living within each of these primary economies.

<

It is increasingly apparent that our required solutions increasingly are — from a begin-to-end perspective — collaboratively developed, manufactured, and delivered by the focus and expertise of peoples from a variety walks of life.

<

This has the effect of empowering, ultimately, our greater resilience and sustainability.

<

A key characteristic of biological systems includes the fact that, while the whole requires each part, the whole is also greater than the sum of its parts.

<

Humans are distinguished by their use of tools and learning, specifically to effect changes.

<

Our presently evolving circumstances and experiences truly match the characteristics of what many scientists have called “evolutionary biological systems change.”

<

Where we need to go and what we need to do, for our optimum sustainability.
